Appartement Saalbach

The typically Austrian 'Haus Ladis' was built in the early 1970s by Walter and Johanna Senn (from the Tyrolean village of Ladis) and at the time served as a breakfast guest house.

In the mid-eighties it was converted into an apartment house. The house now consists of nine larger and smaller apartments. Of these, "Alpin Juwal" is our four- to five-person apartment.
Haus Ladis is located on the main road from Saalbach to Hinterglemm, on the Glemmtaler Landesstrasse. The lively center and the ski lift (Schattberg express) can be easily walked on about 500 meters away. Skiing back is possible up to 150 meters from the house! (with sufficient snow and via a simple ski path)

Our (partly) renovated apartment 'Alpin Juwal' in 2022 is divided as follows. On the ground floor, you walk through the entrance to the door of number 3. On the right side is the new (2020), luxurious and spacious bathroom with rain shower, a semi-separate toilet and double washbasins. This is finished with beautiful old Austrian wood. In addition, there is a very complete kitchen with (3) different coffee machines (Nespresso), dishwasher, combi microwave & oven and induction hob.

 

On the left is the new (Oct.2022) very spacious bedroom with a double boxspring bed. Adjacent to this bedroom is the south-facing balcony where you can soak up the sun while you doze slowly to the babbling brook that runs behind the house.
From the hall you enter the renovated (2020) spacious and attractive living room with a spacious sitting area and a dining table where you can eat, watch TV/DVD, play games, listen to music and read.
 

Adjacent to the living room is a second, recently renovated (2021) bedroom with a spacious 2-P box spring.

In the basement is the space to place your ski boots on the heated rack and to store your skis. The house is very easy to reach (no slopes!) and has a double free parking space.
